Veterinary Technician
Carlos was born in Miami, Florida, raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and moved to Arizona when he was 17 years old. From a young age, Carlos had a major soft spot for animals and was the kind of child who would find a wounded bird and bring it home to try to nurse it back to health.
At the age of 19, Carlos had the opportunity to attend school to work with animals, and he has been following that path ever since. He attended Pima Medical Institute in 2013, where he completed the Veterinary Assistant program and graduated with an applied science degree. He later went on to complete the Veterinary Technician program, earning an associate degree in Veterinary Science.
Carlos began his veterinary career while still in school, starting as a kennel attendant and working his way up to technician. He has been a veterinary technician since 2015 and continues to bring compassion, experience, and dedication to the care of every patient.
Outside of work, Carlos enjoys spending time in the sun, relaxing by the pool with a cold refreshment, and having fun with friends and family. He also loves spending time with his three fur babies: his cat, Nebula, and his two dogs, Maya and Giorgio. Carlos is always up for a new adventure, and you can often find him on the road exploring new places.
