Horizon Animal Hospital is an AAHA Accredited facility that was constructed to support our continuing mission of employing the latest medical technologies (including digital
radiography, color ultrasound and surgical lasers) to deliver the highest quality of medical care to our patients and their families.

We offer complete, small animal veterinary care, including many important specialty services such as laser surgery, ultrasound, digital x-ray and dentistry. For your convenience we also offer pet boarding and prescription diets as well as retail pet food and supplies.

For your dog boarding needs we have available 78 Kennels, including 46 runs. All kennels are indoors and climate controlled for your pets comfort.

Spaying and neutering are surgical procedures intended to render your pet incapable of producing puppies or kittens by the removing of the organs of reproduction.

Exam Rooms and Pharmacy

Our five regular exam rooms provide a quiet place to discuss all your pet’s needs. After a technician has obtained the accurate weight and temperature, the Doctor will arrive and begin the physical examination. Many problems can be diagnosed here and minor treatments and vaccinations will be performed in the room. Learn More

Treatment

Treatment

The center of any veterinary hospital is the treatment area. This is where animals that require more extensive treatment or hospitalization will receive the care they need. Our treatment area is fully equipped to handle every contingency. Learn More

Lab and X-rays

Located behind the exam rooms is our in-house laboratory. This lab is capable of performing many tests and reporting the results in less than 20 minutes. Tests include blood, urine, fecal, heartworm and others. Samples that require additional testing will be sent out to a local veterinary laboratory. Learn More

Special Procedures

Special Procedures is a room next door to the main Surgery. This is where we perform ultrasounds as well as minor anesthetic procedures such as teeth cleaning and polishing, skin biopsies and small growth removals, cleaning and suturing of minor wounds, etc. Learn More

Surgery

The main Surgery is a special room where all major sterile procedures are performed. This includes routine spays and neuters as well as advanced abdominal, exploratory and other surgeries.
