Dr. Carey is originally from Florida and spent her childhood on farms in North Florida and South Georgia, where her deep compassion for animals first began to grow. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida International University and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University.
Dr. Carey is passionate about helping both patients and their owners find comfort and relief. Her professional interests include dermatology, geriatric care, preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Carey enjoys practicing yoga, dining out, and relaxing at home with her beloved pugs and mastiff while watching TV.
