Laura

Laura was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. Although she didn’t grow up with many animals, her love for them grew quickly after bringing home her first pup. That experience sparked a passion to learn everything she could about dogs and their behavior.

Laura began working in the pet care field in 2021, starting in the doggy daycare and boarding setting. She thrives in group environments, helping dogs focus even with plenty of distractions, and she also enjoys one-on-one training sessions. The skills she gained while training at work gave her the confidence to work with her own pup, who once struggled in public settings.

At home, Laura shares her life with four dogs who constantly surprise her with how much they learn at any age. When she’s not with her pups, she enjoys fishing and traveling with her wife.
