Veterinary Assistant
My name is Meredith and I was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. I’m the second of four children and many pets. My hobbies are reading and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
I chose this profession because I want to care and be there for our pets, just as they are for us! During my time volunteering at Hunkapi farm, a therapeutic horse riding ranch, and local shelters, I learned more about the interconnectedness between animals and humans and the importance of these animals in our lives.
I joined Horizon Animal Hospital because of their commitment to the best care for our pets. I immediately noticed the team's dedication to the care of the animals and upholding the best standards of practice. Currently, I am studying biology at the University of Arizona and I am entering my sophomore year. In the future, I hope to become a veterinarian.
