Jennifer is the Hospital Administrator at Horizon Animal Hospital. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona.
Jennifer began her career in the veterinary field in 1993 and has been dedicated to the profession for over 35 years. She started as a receptionist at a veterinary practice, where she remained until her veterinarian retired. During that time, she advanced her skills and experience in many areas of veterinary medicine. She achieved her Certified Veterinary Technician status in 1999 and went on to develop advanced ultrasound skills and gain extensive management experience.
In 2014, Jennifer completed an intensive one-year ultrasound training program with Sound Eklin. In 2021, she joined Horizon Animal Hospital and was excited to begin a new chapter with such a beautiful and welcoming clinic.
Her professional interests include ultrasound, dentistry, inventory management, practice efficiency, and human resources. Dentistry is one of her passions because it provides immediate and noticeable health benefits, improved comfort, and quality-of-life improvements for pets. While dental procedures can be challenging, Jennifer finds them incredibly rewarding.
In her personal time, Jennifer enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, kayaking, and travel adventures. She is happily married and enjoys spending time with her stepdaughter and her Rottweiler, Sven.
