Dr. Beth Hareski is a graduate of Michigan State University and was accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine after her sophomore year at MSU. Beth received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1976 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1977.
After graduation Dr. Hareski relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona and worked in a general medical practice for 12 months before joining the Emergency Animal Clinic in Scottsdale.
Dr. Hareski practiced emergency medicine for 5 years then returned to the practice of general medicine, working for 18 months with a reproductive specialist, then spending the next 13 years working alongside a doctor who specialized in dermatology. After working with specialists for 20 years, Dr. Hareski decided it was time to implement her own vision for veterinary care which resulted in the opening of Horizon Animal Hospital in January, 1998.
Dr. Hareski’s areas of special interest include soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, reproduction, dermatology, diabetes management, and her latest specialty, laser surgery. Most of her clients call her “Dr.Beth”.
Dr. Beth lives in North Scottsdale with her husband John and two West Highland White Terriers named Angel and Glory Be.
